Privacy policy

Your data stays on your device

When you import, LATTICE reads the conversations.json from a folder you choose and builds your graph in memory on your Mac. We operate no backend, no accounts, and no cloud sync. We collect no analytics and no telemetry — the app does not phone home to us, and there is nothing for us to see.

What we don’t collect

• No analytics, usage tracking, crash telemetry, or advertising identifiers.
• No copies of your conversations, graphs, embeddings, or summaries.
• No payment card details (see Payments below).

License checks

When you enter a license key, LATTICE sends the key and a generated machine fingerprint to Keygen to validate it and node-lock the license to your Mac. After a successful check it keeps working offline for a 14-day grace period. These requests carry no content from your archive — only the key and fingerprint.

AI providers (only when you import)

Importing is the unlocked feature, and it’s the only time your conversation content leaves your machine. To turn your archive into a graph, LATTICE sends representative excerpts directly from your Mac to Voyage AI (for embeddings) and Anthropic (for cluster naming and summaries), authenticated with your own API keys. That data goes to those providers under their privacy terms — never to us. We never receive, proxy, or store it. The free sample graph requires no keys and makes no such calls.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Paddle as our Merchant of Record, under Paddle’s privacy policy. Paddle processes your payment and billing details; we never see or store your card data.

What’s stored locally, and how to delete it

LATTICE keeps a few things on your Mac, never on our servers:

• Your API keys, your license, and a summaries cache in ~/Library/Application Support/LATTICE/.
• Screenshots you capture in ~/Pictures/LATTICE/.

Deleting the ~/Library/Application Support/LATTICE/ folder removes all local app data, including your stored keys and license cache.

Subprocessors

• Paddle — payments & tax (Merchant of Record).
• Keygen — license issuance & validation.
• Voyage AI — embeddings, only when you import, with your key.
• Anthropic — cluster naming, only when you import, with your key.

Children

LATTICE is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16 (or the age of digital consent in your region).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because LATTICE is local-first, almost all of your data already lives only on your Mac and is under your direct control: you can delete it at any time (see above). For anything that involves Paddle (payment records) or a license tied to your purchase, contact us at support@yreh.com and we’ll help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves; we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, note them on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
